I am Frank Junhao Ran, a Ph.D. student in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Rutgers University - New Brunswick. I am advised by Dr. Bo Yuan.
Previously, I earned my master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Rice University where I was advised by Dr. Hanyu Zhu and Dr. Xia “Ben” Hu. I received my bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen.
My research interests are efficient and trustworthy machine learning.

I will be working on a project focused on designing a CUDA program for high-performance scientific computing tasks under the supervision of Dr. Hanyu Zhu. |
